yes...another engagement session! My dad and Wile's dad are from the same country of Trinidad, so I've known him since we were really young. Unfortunately, I've been booked for his date day for well over a year and won't be able to shoot his wedding. But i was sure to get an engagement session in there for him and Mandy. We had a great night, although the skies were threatening rain at the beginning. Lots of great locations, I hope you guys love them! Here are a few faves:
Another great engagement shoot. I'm excited about this wedding, a beautiful backyard ceremony in their small town and tons of great locations to shoot. We had a great night, got down and dirty in the middle of bushes, climbed thru barbed wire and got eaten alive, but I think it was worth it...even if I never did get my candy apple in the end ;)
so, I do a LOTof engagement sessions. Often times couples want to hire me for their wedding and I'm already booked, so we head out for an engagement shoot instead. I love them. They are casual, no pressure and we have lots of fun. I did some incredibly wedding stationery for Natasha and Chad, and was so thrille that they chose me to do their engagement shoot. Here are some faves, thanks for the great night guys!
This was a special request from Tash.
We had to work really hard for this one ;)
ok, so I have a bunch of posts to make, and they aren't in order, so bear with me. This is one of my favourite couples from this year. I truly enjoyed working with them. Despite the not-so-cooperative weather, we had a great day. I found a new location that I LOVE. Here are a few, I hope you enjoy!
D'arcy's grandmas pearls, remade. So beautiful and delicate.
Wascana Flower Shoppe worked their magic again. I was smelling these flowers all day. so yummy.
D'arcy and Patrick chose to do the majority of their photos before the ceremony, which I always love. Their first look:
And off to a new location for me, which happens to be Patrick's office. He had no idea what a gem he had!
Well, helllllllloooo gorgeous. Brides like this make my job easy.
My favourite shot of the day. So pretty.
Congrats D'arcy and Patrick! Such a pleasure to work with, and I wish you all the ver, very best in the coming years.
This wedding was sooooo special and fun to be a part of. I truly enjoyed working with these 2 for the last few months. All the very best to you both, and I hope you are loving married life! :)
now THIS is what every couple should be like after the ceremony. Look how happy they are!
